Part One - Billy Suicide

A time and state management game in which players attempt to keep Billy mentally and financially stable, addressing challenging subject matter with dark humor that found its audience, generating over 2 million plays. All game sprites were created using a consumer video camera, a green screen, and a clip light.

THE GAME STORY

Billy is in his late twenties, in the throes of depression and anxiety. His apartment is the whole world, in which he works at his computer, meditates, makes music, drinks, and takes antidepressants. Nothing permanently fixes his depression and anxiety, and his finances are always dropping.
